Dustin + Victoria

What an amazing day! I could not love this wedding, or this sweet couple more! Tori is my 2014 wedding intern. Well, at least she started the summer that way- now, she is more like a sister. Throughout the summer we looked forward to her big day, and when it finally came, not even the huge storm that hit 2 hours before the ceremony could ruin this glorious wedding. Tori's dress from Storybook bridal was incredible to say the least. I think her mother described it best, "The dress is Tori in fabric". And it really was! The flowers from Evergreen Florist were the perfect compliment to the peaches in bloom all around the orchard, with pops of soft pink and orange. The entire bridal party hid out in the bridal suite while Thunder, lighting and high winds whipped through the orchard. I was impressed with how calm and joyful they were. When it was finally over everyone ran around putting decorations back together and by the time guest arrived it looked like nothing had even happened. The sun came out after that and the rest of the evening was perfection. The storm put a bit of a time crunch on the amount of time we had to take photos, so we went out a week and a half after the wedding for a sunset bridal portrait session with their adorable daughter. Look for a blog post on those soon because it was a stunning session!! The signs and many of the decorations were hand made by the bride and her mother. Everything about this wedding was Dustin and Tori to a T, from the soft serve ice-cream, to the blue rubber wedding ring the groom wore. Makeup by Alexa from Kiss and Makeup, Hair by Janet Carpenter. A huge thank you to my second shooter Jenice Baker.
